Description
Nimbus Professional Pressure Redistribution System features:
Pump Features
- Audible & Visual Alarms
The pump alerts caregivers with both audible and visual alarms. Additionally, it activates only when intervention is required, such as during power failure, pressure changes, or pump faults. - Comfort Control
Caregivers can fine-tune pressure levels using the comfort control dial. As a result, patients receive improved comfort without affecting therapeutic performance. - Infection Prevention
The system includes a 3-stage bio-filter. Therefore, it ensures that only clean air enters the mattress.
Mattress Features
- Vapor-Permeable Cover
The 2-way stretch cover supports pressure redistribution while improving comfort. Moreover, its water-resistant design and concealed zippers help reduce fluid ingress. In addition, the cover is flame-retardant, easy to clean, and fully removable for laundering. - Auto-Matt Sensor Pad
The sensor pad automatically adjusts cell pressures based on patient weight and positioning. As a result, it provides consistent and personalized support. - Anti-Sink Design
The mattress uses 19 deep “figure-of-8” cells to support patients up to 550 lbs (250 kg). Therefore, it delivers effective pressure redistribution across all patient types. - Wound Valve Technology
Five heel cells include Wound Valve Technology. For example, caregivers can off-load the heel to reduce pressure for patients with wounds or ischemia. - Cable Management
The system organizes cables efficiently. As a result, it reduces the risk of injury for both patients and caregivers. - Transport Facility
The mattress can retain air for up to 12 hours. Therefore, it provides a stable surface during transport, power outages, or patient handling. - Heelguard
A dedicated heel zone reduces pressure using “power down” straps. In addition, it helps protect vulnerable areas over extended periods. - CPR Facility
Caregivers can quickly release air using a single-handed CPR function. As a result, it supports emergency response and patient handling.
Additional Nimbus Professional Features
- Zoned Wound Valve Technology
Caregivers can isolate any of the 19 cells individually. Therefore, they can target pressure relief for sensitive areas such as grafts, burns, or heels. - Sacral Deflate
The sacral section can deflate to assist with transfers and procedures. Moreover, it supports physiotherapy, imaging, and patient repositioning. - Head Section Deflate
The head cells can deflate to reduce pressure or provide access. For example, this helps during procedures such as intubation, cannulation, or hygiene care.
