Answers to common questions about complex rehab technology, custom wheelchairs, and ordering mobility equipment online.
What is Complex Rehab Technology (CRT)?
CRT refers to highly configurable mobility and seating systems designed for individuals with significant physical needs. It typically involves a clinical evaluation, detailed measurements, and equipment configured to support function, posture, and skin integrity.
Do I need a clinician (OT/PT) for a custom wheelchair or powerchair?
For many CRT cases, an OT/PT evaluation is recommended and may be required for documentation. We coordinate with your clinician and referral partners to align equipment recommendations with functional goals and funding requirements.
How long does the process take?
Timelines vary based on clinical scheduling, documentation, and payer approvals. After the evaluation we provide a clear plan and keep you updated through ordering, fitting, and follow-up adjustments.
Can you service or repair my mobility equipment?
Yes. We support troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance. If you are local to the Tustin/Irvine area we can coordinate service more directly — for nationwide customers we can advise on parts and next steps.
Do you ship off-the-shelf mobility equipment across the U.S.?
Yes. Our online store supports nationwide shipping for many accessories and mobility aids. Product availability and shipping options vary by item.
Where should I start if I am not sure what I need?
Start with a consultation. We will review your goals, current equipment, and environments — home, work, community — and recommend the appropriate next step: CRT evaluation, seating review, repairs, or online ordering.
