Frequently asked questions
What is a complex rehab (CRT) evaluation?
It is an assessment by a mobility specialist, usually together with your occupational or physical therapist, to determine the wheelchair, seating and controls that fit your body, diagnosis and daily environment. The results support the documentation insurers require for custom equipment.
Do I need a doctor’s prescription?
For insurance-funded wheelchairs and complex rehab equipment, yes, a prescription and supporting clinical notes are normally required. For equipment you buy privately, such as rollators, transport chairs or lift chairs, no prescription is needed.
Do you repair wheelchairs and scooters you didn’t sell?
In most cases, yes. We service manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and mobility scooters from major manufacturers. Tell us the make, model and problem and we’ll confirm parts and timing.
Which areas do you serve?
We provide evaluations, delivery, setup and repairs in Tustin and throughout Orange County, including Irvine, Santa Ana, Orange, Costa Mesa, Anaheim and Newport Beach. Equipment purchased online ships anywhere in the United States.
How long does a custom wheelchair take?
Most custom chairs are built to order. Manufacturing can take one to several weeks, and total timing depends mainly on insurance authorization, which we track and follow up on for you.
Can I rent equipment instead of buying?
Yes. We rent hospital beds, wheelchairs, scooters, patient lifts, lift chairs and more on weekly or monthly terms, with delivery and setup available in Orange County.
