Complex rehab wheelchairs & seating in Orange County
Custom manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and seating systems, evaluated with your OT or PT, configured for your body and home, and supported for the life of the equipment. From BlueBay Mobility in Tustin, CA.
Equipment built around the person, not the other way round
Complex rehab technology (CRT) is individually configured mobility equipment for people with significant disabilities or medical conditions. It includes custom manual and power wheelchairs, specialized seating and positioning, and alternative drive controls.
Unlike a standard wheelchair, each CRT system is selected and adjusted after a clinical evaluation, so it supports posture, protects skin, and lets the user move as independently as possible.

Complex rehab questions
Who is complex rehab for?
Complex rehab is usually appropriate when a standard wheelchair doesn’t meet someone’s medical, postural or functional needs, for example after a spinal cord injury or with MS, ALS, cerebral palsy or muscular dystrophy. We work with your clinician to decide the right path.
What happens during a CRT evaluation?
We review your goals, medical needs, posture and the places the equipment will be used, usually together with your OT or PT. Measurements are taken, options are discussed or trialed, and the result is a specific equipment recommendation.
Does insurance cover complex rehab wheelchairs?
Many plans cover complex rehab equipment when it is medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage rules differ by plan, so we review your situation and explain what documentation is needed before anything is ordered.
Do you work with OTs, PTs and referral partners?
Yes. We collaborate with occupational and physical therapists, physicians, rehab centers and care teams on evaluations, documentation and equipment selection.
Can you adjust seating after delivery?
Yes. Follow-up fitting and adjustments are part of the process, because comfort, stability and skin protection often need fine-tuning in the first weeks.
Do you repair complex rehab wheelchairs?
Yes. We troubleshoot, repair and maintain manual and power wheelchairs in Tustin and across Orange County to keep them safe and reliable.
