The Accora Presto is a hi-low adjustable homecare bed engineered for the entire home care journey — from the initial occupational therapy assessment through to long-term use in the home. Positioning & transfer functions

• Height adjustment — This hi-low adjustable range moves from floor level (150 mm / 5.9″) to full nursing height (800 mm / 31.5″) in under 30 seconds. While low positioning helps reduce fall risk, full height supports ergonomic caregiving and clinical access.
• Postural positioning — Backrest elevation supports upright positioning. As the backrest rises, the leg section automatically introduces a knee break to reduce pelvic sliding. In addition, the legrest can be operated independently.
• Chair position — This transitions the bed into a seated position for daily activities and safer transfers.
• Memory function — Furthermore, clients can save and recall a preferred position for backrest, height, and leg section, including a stored bed-exit position for transfers.
• Home — Finally, this returns the platform to flat, horizontal.

Supporting pressure area management

Integrated auto-regression allows the backrest to move away from the pelvis during profiling, with a 10 cm regression distance. As a result, it helps reduce shear forces and supports pelvic stability when the backrest is elevated.

Additional features

Where clinically needed, Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg functions provide additional positioning options. Additionally, integrated 10 cm length extensions at both ends adapt the platform for taller clients without alternative equipment.
